I am a multimedia journalist based in Los Angeles with experience writing, editing and coding stories across platforms. I received my M.S. in journalism from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where I reported on the presidential and Senate races in Nevada, the LA fires, and urban oil drilling. My data story about decreasing medical residency applications won first place at the Los Angeles Press Club Awards in the "Best News Writing, Off Campus Issues" category.
I'm currently freelancing as a reporter for Crosstown LA, a news outlet that tells data-driven stories about Los Angeles. My work has also been featured in LAist, LA Public Press, KCRW and Roll Call.
